About Us

The Rhiwbina Village Events Committee is a group of local volunteers who work behind the scenes when it comes to putting on the Summer Festival and Christmas Victorian Evening.

All are passionate in their desire in making these events a success for the community of Rhiwbina.

The committee is blessed with a wide variety of skills, experience and contacts which helps to ensure that the events are staged as professionally and cost efficiently as possible.

When an event is under project management the committee meets at Rhiwbina Recreation Centre on a Monday evening from 6.30pm – 8.30pm and in average there are 5-7 meetings for each of the two main events.

If you are interested in helping to contribute towards these events the committee door is always open to new members, please feel free to get in touch and you will be advised when the next meeting is due to take place. Please note, membership does not require compulsory attendance on Monday evenings and there are virtual members who play just as an important role in helping to stage these events.
